A variation of an existing cutaway illustration of an energy-efficient renovated old building. Created for the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

Description
This illustration is based on an earlier cutaway illustration I designed for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung for the same topic. The existing 3D model of the building was adapted to a new text, which presents different content about energy-efficient renovation. The most important changes to the 3D model were a heat pump with a geothermal probe and a grey water tank in the basement, and a wooden extension of the house. I also modified the design of the illustration to differentiate it from the older version.
